Tifa, without a doubt, is the FF girl who truly embodies what it means to be a heroine. She is strong, compassionate, kind, tough, sensitive... She is the most complex, human and multidimensional heroine and it is constantly being praised because of her well written character and depth. Tifa is also the most special and unique FF heroine. Not only because she is a monk, a normal human but because she subverted (and still does) the stereotypes of women in videogames. Square Enix broke the mold with Tifa Lockhart. And I dont think they will ever be able to design a female character who comes close to Tifa. She has been, is, and will be an inspiration for women and a symbol of what a strong female heroine is.
